Like he did in "Where the Wild Things Are", visionary director Spike Jonze created a band out of members of already existing indie bands for his short film "I'm Here". The film debuted this year at Sundance and has been getting great reviews for both the film and the soundtrack ever since. Unlike the disastrous shut down of last years event, Gary Richards and the HARD team were successful in presenting this years HARD Summer as a festival and not a rave. The noon to midnight time frame along with the extensive bag search at the entrance seemed to gain HARD some credibility after the recent festival disasters.
